Also, check out this clip of Little House on the Prairie, based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and her childhood account of growing up in the midwest region. Some of you may have seen the show on TV before. This TV show is an example of what life may have been like for people that migrated from the east towards the west coast back in the late 18th to mid 19th century, looking for a better life for their families, the struggles they encountered and it shows how hard life was for them.
